So, there's a small break. What if you want to see your fav actor on screen, but not the previous episodes? Easy, you watch a movie with him/her in it. Nina Dobrev was first, but now is Ian's time to show what he gots. I was wondering which one of the in-show-brothers I showed first, but, I picked Ian, obviously. Here a little synopsis to feed your thirst!
THE MURDER MYSTERY DEEPENS — The present-day murders in Mystic Falls remind Damon (Ian Somerhalder) of a similar crime spree a century earlier. In flashbacks to 1912, Damon recalls a beautiful vampire, Sage (guest star Cassidy Freeman), who showed him a whole new way to exist. Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) warns Damon not to get involved in her investigation, but Damon is convinced she’s going after the wrong suspect. Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Matt (Zach Roerig) resort to breaking and entering in their search for evidence to prove Dr. Fell (guest star Torrey DeVitto) is a murderer. For reasons known only to her, Rebekah (guest star Claire Holt), becomes interested in locating one of the town’s oldest landmarks. Finally, Elena comes to a new understanding of the path her life has taken, and Damon makes an emotional confession to Stefan (Paul Wesley).

The episode was directed by John Behring and written by Julie Plec with Elisabeth R. Finch.

Vampire Diaries, Cassidy Freeman and Ian Somerhalder

Proving that you can`t keep a good bad girl down, Smallville alum Cassidy Freeman returns to The CW to bedevil another crazy-hot cast. "I guess they`re trying to tell me something," says the former Tess Mercer with a laugh. "When I was cast on Smallville, I was like, `Really? Evil angry girl?` Because I can`t stop laughing in real life."
In the March 15 Vampire Diaries episode — a flashback to 1912 — Freeman plays Sage, a bloodsucker with ties to the Originals, as well as Ian Somerhalder`s Damon. "She [is] really aware of what being a vampire is and owns it," says Freeman, who says it "has been a dream to play a vampire" and that she was "jumping for joy" when she got the part. Sage will also resurface in modern-day Mystic Falls with a murky agenda. "She comes back for good reasons, but she is [out] for herself."

The chemistry between Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder is undeniable.
In one of three new Entertainment Weekly covers, a nude Somerhalder cups his Vampire Diaries costar's right breast, while Dobrev seductively plays with the actor's hair.

It's a bold move for the real-life couple, who continue to play coy about their yearlong relationship. "The rumor mills were, 'Is Nina with Ian or is Nina with Paul [Wesley]?' There was a lot of speculation," Dobrev, 23, tells the magazine.

Teases Somerhalder, 33: "Nothing has been confirmed yet." (Wesley, 29, has been married to Pretty Little Liars star Torrey DeVitto since April 2011; the 27-year-old actress is currently guest starring on The Vampire Diaries.)
Somerhalder and Wesley play vampire brothers Damon and Stefan on the CW hit, both of whom are in love with Dobrev's character, Elena.

"How can we service this moment between our characters that we really want, a Damon and Elena kiss, without getting the Stefan-Elena side of the fandom to give up hope and give up on us?" executive producer Julie Plec asks Entertainment Weekly. "And vice versa, when we want Stefan and Elena to have a moment together, how can we do that and not have our Delena fans outraged?"
The Vampire Diaries airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
